Brent Jones: Tight End

Brent Jones was one of the premier tight ends in the National Football League and was one of the key weapons in the San Francisco 49ers arsenal. A veteran of the 49ers Super Bowl Championship teams for the 1988, 1989, and 1994 seasons, Brent was selected for and played in the National Football League Pro Bowl from the 1992 through the 1994 seasons.

As one of the most complete tight ends in the game with great blocking and pass-catching skills, Brent provided the 49ers with another touchdown pass receiving threat when the opposing teams were doubling up on Jerry Rice and John Taylor.

Brent persevered through a series of nagging injuries on sheer determination and commitment and continued to demonstrate why he was one of the key reasons for the 49ers constant success.

In his "All Pro Sports Football Series" DVD, Brent shares his life story and demonstrates the techniques he used in blocking and pass-catching from the tight end position as he discusses the conditioning and positive approach required to be a successful professional athlete.
